Easy Breezy Summer Pecan Pesto!

This is the easiest pesto you will ever make.  Leaving the cheese out saves you lots of calories!  


INGREDIENTS:
  • 3 cups fresh basil
  • 1/2 cup of pecans
  • sea salt
  • fresh cracked pepper
  • garlic powder
  • 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tbs fresh lemon juice

PROCESS:
Combine all ingredients in the blender and pulse to desired consistency.  
Store in an air-tight jar in the refrigerator or freeze in individual ice cube trays for easy use later!
