A few of my favorite things...

I have put together a list of a few of my favorite basic and indulgent items, that I like to have on hand in my kitchen...

My stand mixer is red with a glass bowl just like the one I have pictured above.  My husband gave this to me as an anniversary gift 7 years ago.  The moment it was plugged in, in my kitchen, it has not stopped running.  It inspired my custom cake company La Patisserie Rose and has created thousands of cakes, cupcakes, cookies and so much more.

This could be one of the most under-rated kitchen appliances in my opinion.  I will use my immersion blender about 3 to 4 times a week.  I use this for finishing soups, sauces or even a quick smoothie.

Le Creuset ® Signature 5.5 qt. Round
Oven and dishwasher safe, the inspiration that this one pot will bring to your kitchen is endless.  Perfect for one pot meals. stews, braising and slow cooking.

Made in small batches from the highest-quality cocoa beans, Guittard mint chips have a smooth, cool mint flavor for baking and eating.  Perfect for chocolate chip cookies or homemade ice cream.

Lavender is one of my favorite spices for sweet and savory dishes.  Perfect for shortbread or paired with pork.

100% all-natural cotton bakers twine is eco-friendly and perfect for wrapping up your sweet confections for friends.  I love all the beautiful colors that it comes in.

This set of Olive Oil and Balsamic Vinegar was given to me as a house warming gift many years ago, and I haven't let it run out in my kitchen since.  The olive oil is perfect for dipping breads and drizzling over vegetables. The Balsamic Vinegar is so rich and thick that I love drizzling it over butternut squash pizza or strawberries.  A definite luxury item for your pantry.

Creating homemade vanilla extract is such a gratifying process.  I also use vanilla beans for baking and infusions for cocktails, salt, and sugar.

These are my go to snack for easy appetizers or entertaining on short notice.  Perfect with hummus, guacamole, vegetable dip and tabbouleh.

I love having brown grease proof cupcake-liners on hand for baking cupcakes and muffins.  The dark brown adds such a clean professional look to anything you are baking.

Everything that goes through my oven is lined with parchment paper.  The Wilton brand is easy to find and priced right for everyday use.  Parchment paper is also great for baking savory foods and avoiding the addition of extra oil.

I love that these are gold and that the also always give me consistent baking results.  This set includes a pair of  professional-quality cookie sheets, plus a cooling rack.  The cooling rack is also great for dipped cookies and glazing muffins and donuts.

Organic Lemons:
I always have fresh lemons on hand for a simple additive to water.  Adding the zest to pasta or the juice to lighten up the flavor of a sauce, salad dressing or chicken dish, brings such fresh flavor.
